Airthings 2930 Wave Plus - Radon & Air Quality Monitor: RELIABLE RADON RESULTS
Available Options

Meet the Airthings Wave Plus—your home's new guardian against invisible threats. It's not just the first smart air quality monitor to sniff out radon; it's like having a mini environmental scientist in your living room, keeping tabs on six crucial air factors: radon (because who wants radioactive gas?), CO2 (so you know when to crack a window), VOCs (those sneaky chemicals), plus humidity, temperature, and air pressure. And yes, it's smart enough to spill all its findings to your phone via Bluetooth (iOS/Android), thanks to its free app. No wires, no fuss—just pop in the batteries (which last a whopping 16 months, by the way) and stick it anywhere. Easy peasy.
Why you'll love it:
- Radon doesn't stand a chance with continuous, long-term monitoring—no more guessing games.
- Get the full picture with insights into all six air factors. Knowledge is power, right?
- Even if you're not a data nerd, the color-coded indicators make it a breeze to understand what's up with your air.
- And hey, it's got the brains to back it up, designed by the pros in radon and air quality. Sleep tight knowing you're in good hands.

As someone who's into home stuff and always hunting for a good deal, I had high hopes for this Airthings gadget. I thought it would be like having a little scientist in my house, keeping everything safe and sound. But in reality, it's just okay. It does monitor the air for various factors, which is nice, but it doesn't always feel precise. The app is free, but it can be glitchy, and I have to be close to it for it to work properly. It's not the worst, but for a low-income household, I expected more bang for my buck. It's functional, but I'm not super impressed—kind of a letdown after all the hype.
- Pros: It seems super easy to set up with no wires, just batteries, and the color lights make it simple to check the air without needing to be a tech expert. I like that it keeps an eye on multiple things in the air, which feels reliable for everyday use.
- Cons: I expected it to be more accurate or faster with updates; sometimes the readings seem off or delayed, and the app connection isn't always smooth. For the price, I thought it would be a better deal, but it feels a bit overhyped and not worth the cost for what it does.
