As someone who loves Ring products I had high hopes for this doorbell and overall it meets my expectations The reality is it does its job well making my home feel more secure without any big issues I travel a lot so being able to check in from anywhere is a huge plus compared to similar options Ive seen which often have weaker connections The only downside is the occasional false alerts but for the price and warranty its a solid choice I would recommend it to others looking for a reliable way to monitor their front door
- Pros: I expected it to be complicated to set up but it was quite easy to install myself which was a nice surprise The motion alerts are really good at catching everything outside and the connection to my phone is strong so I can see whos there clearly even when Im not home Its a beast at keeping me informed and I feel safer knowing it works well
- Cons: Since its refurbished it came in a plain box which made me a bit worried at first but it seems fine The motion detection is sensitive so it picks up a lot of small things like leaves blowing which can be annoying sometimes Most likely it could be better at filtering out false alerts compared to other brands Ive tried
