Before I got this light I was using a basic one that was always either too dim or blinding others and I had to manually adjust it all the time which was a pain especially during my early morning rides to work as a chef Now with the RAVEMEN it's a game-changer the auto sensor means I can just turn it on and forget about it and the vibration alert has already warned me about a car pulling out that I might have missed It feels very sturdy and the waterproofing held up in a downpour last week no issues at all I do wish the battery lasted longer on full power but for most of my rides it's fine I'm a brand loyalist and this one lives up to the reputation it's not perfect but it's a huge step up from what I had before and it makes my fitness rides much safer and less stressful
- Pros: The automatic brightness adjustment is brilliant it adapts to the light around me so I never have to fiddle with settings and the vibration warning is a lifesaver alerting me to potential hazards before I even see them the waterproofing is top-notch handled heavy rain without a hitch and the side visibility makes me feel much safer on busy roads it's very reliable and has definitely saved my bacon a few times
- Cons: The battery life could be better as it seemed to drain faster than expected on the highest setting and the mounting system is a bit fiddly took me a while to get it secure without it wobbling also the automatic sensor sometimes overreacts in dim conditions making it too bright unnecessarily
