I bought this to upgrade my car's sound system, and overall, it's been a decent addition. As someone who's been driving for decades, I appreciate the modern features, but it's not perfect. The Bluetooth works well for my music, and the display is intuitive enough that I didn't need help setting it up. However, the responsiveness issues and weak radio reception are disappointing. For the price, it's okay, but I've had better experiences with similar products in the past. It does the job, but I wish it were more reliable. Driving around Phoenix, the heat might be affecting it—things just seem to wear out faster here. Not a bad buy, but not great either.
- Pros: The screen is very clear and easy to see, even in bright sunlight, which is a big plus for my old eyes. I like that I can connect my phone without any wires to play music, and the sound comes out much better than my old radio. The camera for backing up is a lifesaver—it really helps me avoid hitting things, and it feels safer when I'm parking.
- Cons: It seems not without flaws, though. The touchscreen can be a bit slow to respond sometimes, which is frustrating when I'm trying to change songs quickly. The radio doesn't pick up stations as well as I hoped, especially out here in the desert where signals can be weak. And compared to other options I've seen, it feels a bit cheaply made, like it might not last very long.
