as a logistics specialist, i appreciate efficiency, but this camera left me a bit disappointed. i bought it on a whim for home security, thinking it would be a solid choice, but it has its flaws. the video is clear and the full coverage is nice, but the audio could be better, and the build isn't as rugged as advertised. it integrates well with my smart home, which is a bonus, but overall, it's just okay—not amazing. for the price, i expected more reliability, especially in harsh weather. it does the job, but i might look for something else next time.
- Pros: the video quality is fairly sharp, and it captures a wide area without blind spots, which is great for monitoring the yard. i like that it records all the time with a direct power connection, and the auto-follow feature keeps an eye on any motion. the two-way talk is handy for quick chats or warnings, and it works with my voice assistants for easy control. setup was straightforward, and no mandatory fees for storage is a plus.
- Cons: the weather resistance didn't hold up as well as i hoped in our canadian winters, with some issues in heavy snow. the audio quality during conversations isn't the clearest, and the alerts can be a bit delayed at times. it requires buying extra parts for local storage, which adds to the cost, and the design feels a bit bulky for my taste.
