This smart switch kit is for homeowners who want to control hallway or staircase lights from two locations without running new wiring. You can finally replace old 3-way switches in homes built before 2000 where a neutral wire isn't available. The master switch installs directly into your existing box, and the add-on fits the second location. No batteries, no neutral wire, just screw in and pair with your Zigbee hub.
Use voice commands through Alexa or Google Home to turn off lights after the kids go to bed. The master switch has a built-in night light that softly glows, making it easy to find in the dark. It handles LED bulbs as low as 5W, so you won't get flickering or ghosting. Pair it with SmartThings, Hubitat, or SmartLife for schedules and automations.
Designed for typical American 120V homes. If you have a 4-way setup, you need one extra add-on switch. Note: this is an ON/OFF switch, not a dimmer. The wall plate is sold separately. Touch the paddle to toggle, or ask your smart speaker to handle the rest.
