Bottom line, I bought this as a gift for my partner to keep an eye on our property, and overall, it's been a solid choice. The cameras provide sharp footage, and the smart detection helps filter out unimportant events. Setup was straightforward, which I appreciated, and the durability in weather has been reliable. A few minor glitches with the app and detection, but nothing major. For the price, it offers good value, and I'd recommend it with some patience during the learning curve. :)
- Pros: The system is super easy to set up, even for someone not too tech-savvy, and the video quality is really clear, making it easy to see details day or night. I like that it can tell the difference between people and vehicles, which cuts down on false alarms, and the weatherproofing means it holds up well in all sorts of conditions here in Atlanta. The single cable setup for power and data is a big plus, reducing clutter, and the storage can be expanded if needed.
- Cons: From what I feel, the app could be a bit more user-friendly, and I had some initial hiccups with the detection features not always working perfectly. The night vision range is good but not exceptional in very dark areas, and the initial storage might feel limited for long-term use without an upgrade.
