Motion alerts aren't relevant here—instead, you get true remote power management. The physical buttons also let you cut power locally without fumbling for a phone.
Voice control through Alexa or Google Assistant means you can turn off a connected fan without getting up from your desk. Since it works on 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and requires no hub, setup takes minutes. If a port or USB doesn't work initially, simply toggle the switch in the app—safety shutoff is enabled by default. Each USB port outputs up to 2.1A, though simultaneous use limits total to 10W (not fast charging). This SMART NEMA 5-15R receptacle fits a standard wall box and is rated 15A for general household circuits.
