When I first got this Build My Home lamp, I was excited because it seemed like a plug-and-play solution for my home office. Unboxing it was straightforward, and I liked the sleek look—it fits well with my decor. But honestly, it hasn't lived up to the hype. The touch control is finicky; sometimes it works perfectly, other times I have to tap it multiple times to get a response, which is annoying when I'm in a rush. The battery life is a big letdown; I charged it fully, and it only lasted a few hours before dying, not ideal for those late-night sessions. The light options are nice in theory, but the dimmest setting is still too bright for cozy moments, and the brightest isn't enough for detailed work. I wanted something reliable for my late-night reads or when the kids are asleep, but this feels more like a novelty item. For the price, I expected better quality—maybe I should have splurged on something else. It's not terrible, but it's not great either; just okay for occasional use. :)
- Pros: The lamp is super easy to turn on with just a touch, no need to mess with any buttons, which is great when my hands are full with the kids. I like that I can change the light color to fit whatever I'm doing, from working late to relaxing. It's also portable, so I can move it around the house without being tied to an outlet.
- Cons: From what I feel, the battery doesn't last very long, and it takes forever to charge up again. The light isn't as bright as I expected, making it hard to see clearly for tasks. The build feels a bit cheap, and after a short time, the touch sensor has become less responsive, which is frustrating.
