So I got this lock because I wanted something simple and cheap for my apartment in Edmonton and honestly it does the job but not perfectly you know I mean it was easy to install and I like that I dont need keys anymore but sometimes when I try to unlock it from across the room it just doesnt respond right away and I have to get up which defeats the purpose a bit also the build quality seems okay but not great like it might not handle harsh winters here overall it seems good for the money but I wish it was more reliable I would recommend it if youre on a budget but dont expect top tier stuff
- Pros: No more losing keys which is a relief and it was easy to set up without any wires just followed the manual and it worked right away I can unlock from my phone or with a tap which feels too convenient for the price
- Cons: The remote sometimes has a delay or doesnt connect right away which is annoying and it seems a bit flimsy like it might not last long plus the battery life is shorter than I expected
