i bought this as a gift for my daughter who often feels chilly during movie nights. the problem was finding something that could keep her warm without being restrictive. this blanket seemed like a good solution because it wraps around nicely and heats up uniformly. after using it for a couple of months, it does its job well for most evenings, but on colder days, it could be wrong, but i feel it might need an extra layer. the takeaway is that it's a decent, reliable option for moderate cold, not the extreme end. it hums along fine, but not exceptionally. :)
- Pros: it spreads heat very evenly, so no cold patches, and the material is extremely soft, almost like a second skin. i appreciate that it's easy to clean and comes in a classic color that fits any decor.
- Cons: it could be a bit too large for some, making it feel bulky rather than cozy, and while it warms well, it might not be sufficient for extremely cold nights. the flannel part, though thick, doesn't add much beyond the fleece.
