Decision:

i got these thinking they'd be the ultimate solution for my winter rides, but reality had a few surprises. at first, i was excited about not freezing my fingers to check my phone, and that part is mostly good, though sometimes it takes a few tries to register touches. they do a decent job keeping water and wind out, which is a big plus, and i appreciate the visibility boost at night. but when the temperature really drops, my hands still get chilly, and the sizing feels inconsistent—not quite right for my hands. overall, they're okay for milder days or short trips, but i expected more warmth and better performance. i'd say they're average; not terrible, but not amazing either.

  • Pros: i really liked that i could use my phone without taking them off, which is super handy when i'm out and about. they also kept my hands dry and blocked the wind well, and the reflective parts made me feel safer in the dark.
  • Cons: from what i feel, they weren't as warm as i hoped for very cold days, and the fit was a bit off—maybe a little too tight or loose in some spots. also, the touchscreen part didn't always work perfectly, which was frustrating.
