I picked this up from the store, which was convenient, and as an engineer, I found the installation process simple enough. It does what it promises for basic home monitoring, but I expected more given my technical background. The two-way audio works well for quick conversations, but the overall performance isn't as robust as I'd hoped. It's functional for family security, but not outstanding.
- Pros: Setting it up was extremely straightforward, and I appreciated that it worked with my home network without any fuss. The ability to see clearly at night is a big plus, and chatting with visitors through it is very handy for managing deliveries or unexpected guests.
- Cons: As it seemed to me, the video quality could be better in low light, and I was disappointed that it only supports one type of network, which might not be ideal for everyone. In summary, it feels a bit limited for the price.
