i got this for my cat and dog during that brutal heatwave we had last month in liverpool was sweating buckets myself and worried about them overheating set it up in the living room just filled it with tap water and plopped it down my cat hopped on almost straight away and she seemed to love it stayed there for hours my dog was a bit wary at first but after a day he was lying on it too it's been a lifesaver honestly no need to plug anything in or worry about bills the portability is great took it to a friend's place when we visited and it worked fine outdoors too only downside is it takes up space when not in use but for the comfort it provides it's totally worth it would definitely recommend to any pet owner dealing with hot weather
- Pros: it's super easy to set up just inflate and fill with water no electricity needed and it starts cooling as soon as my pet steps on it thanks to the touch thing the material feels tough and hasn't leaked at all even with my cat clawing at it sometimes lightweight so i can move it around or take it when we travel keeps my pets comfy during heatwaves without any fuss
- Cons: it seems a bit bulky when deflated not the easiest to store in a small flat and the cooling effect might not be enough for extreme heat if left in direct sun for too long also my dog took a while to get used to it at first he was hesitant to step on it
