as a designer, i appreciate the sleek look, but in practice, it's not the workhorse i hoped for. first impression was good—the courier called ahead for delivery, which was polite. it seems fine for basic tasks, but i've had moments where it didn't respond well, making me reach for the old remote. not bad, but not great either; i'd say it's just okay for the price.
- Pros: the remote feels nice in my hand and was easy to set up right out of the box. i like that i can just talk to it to find shows or change the volume without fumbling for buttons, which is quite helpful when my hands are full.
- Cons: it doesn't work with all my devices, only the samsung ones, which is a bit limiting. the voice feature sometimes misses what i say, especially if there's background noise, and it feels a bit flimsy for something i use every day.
