Decision:

When I first got this, I was a bit skeptical because I tend to buy things on a whim, but it's turned out to be a decent replacement. As it seemed to me, it works well with my TV device, and I appreciate not having to search for the old remote. The voice feature is handy for searching shows or changing channels without straining my hands, though it's not perfect—I have to speak clearly and slowly. Overall, it's a good buy for the price, and it's made my evenings a bit easier. I'd recommend it with a few caveats.

  • Pros: It was fairly easy to set up, just paired quickly without any fuss, and it fits nicely in my hand, not too big or small. I liked that I could just talk to it instead of pressing buttons, which is a big help for my fingers.
  • Cons: The voice part doesn't always catch what I say if there's background noise, and it feels a bit light, not as sturdy as I'd hoped. Sometimes it takes a moment to respond, which can be annoying when I'm trying to find something fast.
