Before I got this Build My Home lamp, I was using some old clunky thing with a cord that always got tangled and only had one brightness level—total pain. Now, it's like night and day :). I can dim it way down for cozy reading sessions or crank it up when I'm grinding through reports, and the touch thing is so intuitive, no more fumbling. It folds flat into my bag, perfect for when I'm on the road for sales meetings, and charging it with my laptop cable is a lifesaver. But yeah, the eye comfort feature doesn't seem to do much, and the battery's starting to fade faster than I'd like after half a year of use. Still, for the price, it's a solid upgrade that makes my desk setup way better.
