Decision:

as a loyal CAT EYE user, i expected this sensor to be a reliable workhorse, and for the most part, it has been. i wanted something that would give me accurate data without any hassle, and it delivers on that front. the reality is that it's very practical and has become an essential part of my rides, helping me track my progress and push myself harder. it's not perfect—the occasional connectivity issue is annoying—but overall, it's a solid tool that does what it promises. i'd recommend it to fellow cyclists who want to up their game without overcomplicating things.

  • Pros: i was really impressed with how easy it was to get this thing set up on my bike—no fuss at all, and it just worked right away. the battery life is fantastic; i've been using it for months without needing a change, which is great for my long rides. it pairs seamlessly with my phone and the apps i use, giving me clear feedback on my pedaling and speed, which has helped me improve my cycling a lot.
  • Cons: sometimes the connection can be a bit finicky, especially if i'm in areas with a lot of interference, and it doesn't always pick up the cadence perfectly when i'm going very slow or on rough terrain. also, while it's durable, it feels a bit plasticky and not as robust as i'd like for something i use so often.
