i bought this as a gift for my partner who's into solar stuff, and it seemed to work quite well overall. as it seemed to me, it does a good job managing the energy from the panels, and the batteries are lasting longer. i used it for a few weeks now, and it's been reliable, but i had to fiddle with it a bit to get it just right. packaging was intact when it arrived, which was nice. it's not perfect, but for the price, it's a solid choice if you're looking to improve your solar setup :)
- Pros: it sucks up sun power really well, making the most of my panels and keeping my batteries safe from overcharging. setup was super easy, just plug and play, and i like that it has a usb port for charging my phone, which is handy. it works with different voltage setups, so it's quite versatile for my needs.
- Cons: after adjusting settings, i found it can be a bit noisy sometimes, and the auto mode doesn't always feel as efficient as i'd hoped, maybe needing more tweaking. it's not the smallest device, so space might be an issue in tight setups.
