i picked this up from the store on a whim because i needed some extra light for my living room, and it was super convenient to grab. as a healthcare worker, i appreciate things that are easy to use, and this solved my problem of wanting flexible lighting without a big hassle. the touch switch is a nice touch, and it's been working fine for the short time i've had it. overall, it's a decent buy for the price, but i'm a bit disappointed it might not last too long with my family's rough handling. i'd recommend it for temporary setups, but maybe not for permanent use.
- Pros: super handy for quick setup with the sticky back that needs no tools, and the brightness adjustment lets me switch from bright for tasks to a soft glow for relaxing, which is great for my busy home with kids. the touch switch makes it easy to control, and the plug works well in my outlets without issues.
- Cons: from what i feel, the adhesive isn't super strong and might not hold up long-term, especially with kids around who might tug on it. also, the light could be a bit more even across the strip, as there are some dim spots.
