Long story short, I got this because we had some package thefts in the neighborhood, and I wanted something to help keep an eye on the front door. As it seemed to me, this Baby cheetah doorbell solved that problem fairly well—I can see and talk to people from my couch or even while gaming, which is awesome. But man, the connection issues pop up now and then, like it just decides to take a break, and that's a letdown. It does what it's supposed to most of the time, but those hiccups make me wish it was more reliable. Overall, it's a decent pick for the price, but not perfect.
- Pros: The setup was a breeze, no wires to mess with, and I can check who's at the door from my phone anywhere, which is great for keeping an eye on things when I'm not home. The two-way talk lets me chat with visitors without opening up, and it feels like having an extra layer of security.
- Cons: Sometimes the connection drops out, making the video feed laggy or not show up at all, which is frustrating when I really need to see what's going on. The battery life isn't as long as I hoped, needing a charge more often than I'd like, and it can be a bit glitchy with notifications not coming through consistently.
