i got this to keep an eye on deliveries and the family, and it does the job most days. the video is clear enough to recognize faces, and i like that i can check in from my phone without getting up. but it's not perfect—i've missed a few alerts when the wi-fi was acting up, and the app could be more responsive. for the price, it's okay, but i expected better stability. it's a solid choice if you're on a budget, but don't expect top-tier performance. could be wrong, but it feels like it could use some improvements.
- Pros: it arrived on time and was fairly easy to set up with my home network, the video quality is decent for seeing who's at the door, and the remote lets me handle things from anywhere which is handy with kids running around
- Cons: the connection can drop sometimes making it unreliable, and the app feels a bit clunky not as smooth as i'd like for something i use daily
