As a software guy, I was hopeful this SZ-Damai sensor would be a smart upgrade, but reality hit hard. I bought it thinking it'd be seamless, like in ads, but it's finicky—wave detection isn't reliable, and that's a big letdown. On the plus side, no more touching gross lids, and the waterproofing is solid for accidental spills. The odor control is decent but not amazing; it masks smells but doesn't eliminate them. Charging is convenient, but the short cable means I had to rearrange my space. Overall, it does the job but with quirks—could be better for the cost. I'm sticking with the brand out of loyalty, but this isn't their best. Maybe I'm wrong, but it feels like a half-baked gadget.
