Decision:

as a builder and someone who loves things that just work, i had high hopes for this gadget, i bought it a couple of weeks ago to help manage the temperature in our home here in atlanta, where the weather can be all over the place, the touch screen is great—it's intuitive and my husband even picked it up quickly, which says a lot, but i did run into some hiccups, like when i tried to connect it to my phone, it took a few tries and some help from the manual, which i don't love dealing with, overall, it's a decent workhorse for keeping the house comfortable, but it's not perfect, i'd recommend it with some patience, especially for folks who aren't too into tech stuff, it does the job, but could be better

  • Pros: i love how easy it is to change the temperature with just a touch on the screen, it feels so smooth and simple, and being able to control it from my phone is incredibly handy, especially when i'm cozy in bed or out and about, it works with my home's power without any issues, which is a big relief, and it seems to help save a bit on energy costs, which is always nice for the family budget
  • Cons: most likely it could be a bit more responsive at times, the screen might not always register my touch right away, which can be a little frustrating, and while it works with my smart home setup, it doesn't integrate as seamlessly as i hoped, sometimes requiring extra steps, also, for someone like me who's not too tech-savvy, the initial setup took a while to figure out, which was a bit of a hassle
