For anyone who wants to control a lamp or fan without running new wires, the SONOFF MINIR4M Wi-Fi Smart Switch fits behind your existing wall switch. It works without a neutral wire, so you can install it in older homes without calling an electrician.
I set mine up in 10 minutes using the eWeLink app. The module is small enough to fit inside the switch box, and the wiring diagram is printed on the unit. Once connected, you can turn lights on or off from your phone, set schedules for mornings or bedtime, and use voice commands with Alexa or Google Assistant.
The Matter certification means it also works with Apple Home and other smart home platforms, so you are not locked into one ecosystem. Whether you are upgrading a single light or automating your whole house, this switch makes it simple.
