so, what's the deal with this toy? well, as a deal hunter, i got it on sale and it's been a good buy overall. my dog and cat both go crazy for it, which is great for burning off energy when i'm busy with work. it moves around on its own, which is handy, but after a few weeks, the novelty wears off a bit. i appreciate that it's tough and hasn't broken despite some intense zoomies, but the battery life could be better—i find myself charging it every couple of days. for the price, it's a solid choice if you want something to keep your pets occupied, but don't expect it to be perfect. would i recommend it? yeah, with some caveats.
- Pros: it's quite fun for my pets, keeping them active and entertained without me having to do much. i like that it charges with a cable so i don't have to keep buying batteries, and it feels really sturdy, surviving rough play sessions without breaking.
- Cons: from what i feel, i expected more in terms of movement variety—it can get a bit repetitive after a while. also, the charging time is longer than i'd like, and it doesn't hold a charge for as long as i hoped, so i have to plug it in frequently.
