I bought these on a whim thinking they would make my home smarter and save energy which they mostly do the reality is they work well most of the time but the solar part is not always reliable here in Phoenix where it is sunny but we have occasional clouds it is fairly intuitive to set up and use though I had low expectations as a beginner with tech and they met most of them I can see them helping with keeping the house cooler in summer by blocking heat which is a plus overall they are good but not perfect I would recommend them with some caution
- Pros: I liked that they run on sunlight so no need to plug in which saves on power bills and the app is easy to use making it simple to adjust them from anywhere the motor is quiet and smooth and installation was straightforward for someone like me who is not great with tools
- Cons: The solar charging is slow on cloudy days which can be a problem in places with less sun and the app sometimes has a delay in responding which is annoying for quick changes I wish there was a backup way to control them without the phone just in case
