so i got this smart switch a few weeks back and ive been using it in my hallway you know where i always need light when coming home from my evening walks as a brand loyalist i usually stick with koogeelife but this one has me a bit on the fence installation was light as a feather just swapped it out with the old switch and it connected to my phone app easily but why does it only work with that older wifi type it feels outdated and i have to keep my router settings a certain way which is a hassle the motion sensing is good most of the time but not perfect sometimes i have to wave my arms to get it to notice me which is too much fuss for something thats supposed to be smart it does make the house look occupied when im away which i appreciate for security and it probably saves energy but i wish it was more reliable overall its okay but not great i might recommend it if youre on a budget but for me its just average
- Pros: i liked how easy it was to set up no special tools or knowledge needed and it connects to my home network without any trouble the way it turns the lights on when i walk in is really handy and it does seem to save a bit on electricity which is nice for the bills
- Cons: from what i feel it only works on the two point four gigahertz band which is too limiting if you have newer devices and sometimes it doesnt detect motion right away which can be annoying in the dark also the build feels a bit cheap not what i expected for the price
