As a teacher who's not too tech-savvy, I bought this as a gift for our home, and overall, it's been a great addition. It arrived on time, and installation was straightforward—no engineering degree required, as they say! I've been using it for a couple of weeks now, and it's made life easier, no more fumbling for keys. But, as it seemed to me, the fingerprint thing isn't flawless; it occasionally misses, which is a minor annoyance. Still, I'd recommend it for the convenience and security it brings, though it's not perfect. So, would I buy it again? Probably, but with the hope they improve the reliability a bit.
- Pros: I was thrilled with how easy it was to set up—no tools or complicated steps needed, just followed the instructions and it worked right away. The fingerprint recognition is fantastic; it lets me in quickly and feels very secure, and I love that it connects to my other home devices seamlessly. The design is sleek and modern, which my wife appreciates too.
- Cons: Sometimes the fingerprint scanner doesn't work perfectly on the first try, especially if my hands are a bit damp, which can be frustrating. It seems a bit too sensitive to moisture, and I wish it had a backup key option just in case, as it relies solely on this method.
