So why did I buy this clock Well I needed something reliable and stylish for my home office and this caught my eye. After using it for a couple of weeks I can say it does the job but with some quirks. The display is fantastic no squinting needed which is a big win. Setting the time and alarms was a breeze just a few taps and done no manual to read. I appreciate the wooden design it blends well with my garden-themed decor and feels sturdy though I worry about the heat here in Phoenix warping it eventually. On the downside it's not really smart in any techy way just a basic clock with LEDs which is fine but don't expect miracles. The alarm volume is a letdown I had to place it right by my bed to hear it and even then it's not very loud. Battery life seems decent but I haven't tested it long-term. Overall it's a decent buy if you want something simple and good-looking but for the cost I might have gone with a cheaper option. It serves its purpose and looks nice on my desk so no regrets but not a game-changer :)
- Pros: The display is very bright and easy to read even from across the room which is a solid plus for my aging eyes. I like that it runs on simple batteries no fussy cords to deal with. The wood looks nice on my desk adds a bit of nature to the space without any upkeep. Setting alarms is straightforward no complicated steps involved.
- Cons: It seems a bit basic for the price I expected more features given the smart label. The sound for alarms could be louder sometimes I sleep right through it. The wood might not hold up well in dry Arizona heat over time seems prone to cracking.
