As a small business owner who values reliability, I bought these to add some charm to my home office and for occasional events. I've been using them for a couple of months now, and while they do brighten up the space nicely, I've had a few issues. For instance, just last week, I was trying to set a soft glow for an evening of reading, but the app kept disconnecting, and I had to restart it several times. It seems like the build quality could be better; one of the strands already has a light that flickers inconsistently. On the plus side, when they work, the colors are vibrant and can mimic natural scenes well, which I appreciate for creating a cozy atmosphere. But given the problems, I'm not entirely satisfied—they're decent for the price, but not the perfection I was hoping for. :)
- Pros: To be fair, I liked that I could change the colors from my phone without having to get up, which is very handy for someone like me who isn't as spry as I used to be. The variety of shades is impressive, letting me set different moods for reading or when I have guests over. - Cons: However, the connection can be a bit finicky sometimes, dropping out when I'm trying to adjust things, which is frustrating. The lights themselves seem a bit fragile, and I worry they might not last long with regular use. The app isn't very intuitive either, making it hard to get the exact look I want without a lot of trial and error.
