before i got this, my lighting was just plain old bulbs—boring and static. now, i can set the mood for anything, from a cozy night in to a small get-together, which is awesome. but it's not all rainbows; the inconsistency with colors and connectivity can be annoying. overall, it's a decent upgrade that adds some flair, but it has its quirks. i'd say it's okay for the money, but don't expect perfection. :)
- Pros: i was just what i needed to add some fun to my place without a big hassle. setting it up was a breeze, and i love that i can change the colors and brightness with my phone or by talking to my voice assistant. it works with the power here in france, which is great since i hate dealing with adapters. the app is pretty straightforward, even for someone like me who's not super techy.
- Cons: the colors sometimes seem a bit off from what i pick, and it can be too finicky with the connection, dropping out now and then. the brightness range isn't as wide as i'd hoped, so it's not perfect for every situation. also, it feels a bit cheaply made, which is a letdown for the price.
