as someone who enjoys diy stuff, i was excited to try this out, but it's been a mixed bag. it does what it says for the most part, but the reliability isn't great. i've had it for a couple of months now, and while it's handy for adjusting the light for different moods, the occasional glitches make it less than perfect. i might recommend it to a friend if they're on a budget, but there are probably better options out there. :)
- Pros: it's fairly easy to set up with my phone, and i like that i can change the light from warm to cool with just a tap. screwing it in was simple, and it works with my other smart home gadgets without much fuss.
- Cons: the delivery was delayed a bit, which was annoying. sometimes the connection drops, and i have to fiddle with the app to get it working again. the colors don't always match what i expect, and it could be brighter in some settings.
