as a stay at home dad in san diego i was tired of fumbling with keys especially when out cycling or just busy around the house so i got this lock set to solve that problem it worked pretty well letting me control access remotely and share codes easily the installation was straightforward and fit my door fine but i had to buy the gateway separately to use all the smart features which felt like a hidden cost after a few weeks of use its reliable for daily stuff but not perfect i could be wrong but it feels like a decent mid ranger for the price not too fancy but gets the job done takeaway is its convenient but could be better without the extra purchases
- Pros: i liked how i could open the door from my phone without keys and set up codes for different people it made things way easier and the auto lock feature is a lifesaver for forgetful moments like mine
- Cons: the gateway is sold separately which is a pain and adds extra cost also the app can be a bit glitchy sometimes and the battery alerts could be more prominent
