my first impression was okay—it arrived a day late, but that was fine. as an engineer, i appreciate simple tech, but this lock didn't meet my perfectionist standards. it seemed handy for quick access, like when i'm cooking and need to grab something from a locked cabinet, but the unreliability with the fingerprint made me second-guess it. overall, it's functional but has its quirks that keep it from being great.
