I got this for my kids who love animals and wanted to try hatching some chicks. As a sales manager I'm used to things working smoothly but this was a bit of a letdown. It does the basic job of warming the eggs and we did get a couple to hatch after a few weeks which was cool :) but I had to constantly monitor the temperature and turn the eggs myself which was a hassle. Could be wrong but for someone with a busy life and multiple kids it's not as hands-off as I hoped. Extremely disappointed it didn't live up to the hype but it's decent for a small project if you don't mind the extra work.
- Pros: It keeps the heat steady which is key for hatching and fits a small number of eggs nicely. The plug works right away here in Canada and it's compact so it doesn't take up much space.
- Cons: It's only semi-automatic so I had to check on it a lot which was annoying. For the price I expected more automation and it feels a bit flimsy like it might not last long.
