I was expecting a hassle-free security upgrade, and reality mostly delivered—it's awesome for keeping an eye on things, especially with my pets around. Compared to other options, it's a good deal for the price, but it's not perfect. Packaging was intact when it arrived, and I've been using it for a couple of weeks now. Most likely, I'd recommend it with a few caveats—it does the job well enough for my needs.
- Pros: The video quality is awesome, making it easy to see who's at the door even in low light, and I love that it's wireless—no drilling or messing with cables. It connects well to my home network, so I can check in from anywhere, and it's held up fine in the rain, which is a big plus for Mumbai's weather.
- Cons: The battery life isn't as long as I'd hoped, needing a recharge fairly often, and sometimes the connection drops, making me miss alerts. It's not the most durable against repeated button presses, and the setup could be smoother for someone less tech-savvy.
