i bought these as a gift for a friend's place, thinking they'd be a cool addition for gatherings. expected them to be super easy and instant fun, but reality was a mix. the lights look amazing when they work right, and the waterproof aspect is a solid plus for any indoor-outdoor events. however, the app issues and setup hassle dampened the experience a bit. for the price, they're decent but not flawless. most likely, i'd recommend them with a heads-up about the quirks.
- Pros: the lights are really vibrant and easy to control from my phone, making it simple to set up for parties or just chill vibes. i liked that they're powered by a common cable and can handle getting wet, so no worries about spills or weather. being able to draw my own designs on them adds a fun personal touch.
- Cons: shipping took a bit longer than expected, and the app can be a bit glitchy sometimes, making it frustrating to change patterns smoothly. the brightness might be too intense for everyday use, and setting them up wasn't as quick as i hoped—had to fiddle around more than i'd like.
