before buying this, i was just looking for something qiuck to keep my child entertained, and i picked it up from the store on a whim. after using it for a couple of weeks, it's been a decent addition. it's educational in a subtle way, and the wooden construction feels durable, but i was a bit disappointed that it doesn't wow as much as i thought it might. it does what it says, but it's not the most exciting thing out there. could be wrong, but it feels like it's missing a litlte something to make it great.
- Pros: the build quality is quite solid with the wooden parts, and it was fun to put together witjout much trouble. it actually teaches a bit about balance and how things move, which i didn't expect from a toy. my kid enjoys playing with it, and it's held up well so far.
- Cons: it could be a bit more engaging for lonegr play sessions, and the motor isn't as powerful as i hoped—sometimes it struggles on uneven surfaces. the instructions were a bit vague in places, which made assembly frustrating at times.
