Sure, it's not perfect—it can be noisy and struggles a bit on rugs—but it saves me so much time and effort. Living in the future? Maybe, but it's a welcome one for this tired mom.

• Pros: It's sleek and handles the daily mess from my kids and pets, zipping back to charge on its own. I love that I can control it with my phone or just my voice, making it feel like a real helper in my smart home setup.
• Cons: Sometimes it could be a bit too loud, and I wish it handled thicker carpets better without needing multiple passes. The app can be finicky at times, which is a bit frustrating for someone who relies on tech.

Decision:

Living in Boston with a busy household full of kids and pets, I was looking for something to help keep the floors clean without much fuss. This little robot from Xiaomi has been a mixed bag. On the plus side, it's fairly straightforward to use—just turn it on and let it do its thing. I like that I can schedule cleanings through the app, which is handy when I'm out and about. It handles everyday messes like crumbs and fur pretty well, and it's satisfying to watch it zip around. But, oh, it has its quirks. It tends to miss spots under furniture and in corners, which means I still have to do some manual touch-ups. The wet cleaning option was a letdown; it left my floors looking a bit streaky, so I stick to dry mode most of the time. Integration with my other smart gadgets isn't perfect, and voice commands don't always work as expected. Overall, it's a helpful tool, but not the complete solution I was hoping for. My tip: run it daily to keep on top of things, and maybe use it more for maintenance than deep cleans.

• Pros: I found it fairly easy to set up right out of the box, almost plug-and-play, and it does a good job picking up dust and pet hair from my floors. It's nice that I can control it with my phone or a remote, and it goes back to charge on its own when needed.

Decision:

i got this to help with the constant dust and pet hair and its been quite a game changer :) the way it just goes back to charge itself is so clever and i love that i can just tell it to start cleaning without getting up its not perfect but for the price and how much time it saves me id say its worth it a tip for new users make sure to clear the floor of small objects it can get stuck on and empty the dustbin regularly to keep it running smoothly

• Pros: quite a lifesaver for keeping the floors clean without lifting a finger :) adapts well to different messes and the app makes it easy to control from anywhere its like having a little helper that knows exactly what to do
• Cons: from what i feel it sometimes misses spots especially in corners and can be a bit loud when its working hard not a dealbreaker but something to keep in mind
