as an impulsive buyer, i grabbed this light hoping to jazz up my living room, and overall, it does the job. i've been using it for a couple of weeks now, and while it's fun for parties, i'm a bit disappointed that it doesn't always stay connected. i'd recommend playing with the settings to slow down the color changes if you prefer something steadier. for the price, it's decent, but not perfect—maybe better for someone who doesn't mind tinkering a bit.
- Pros: after digging in settings, i found the colors are too vibrant and change smoothly, which is great for setting a mood. the brightness adjusts easily, and it connects well with my phone and voice commands, making it simple to control. the design is sleek and blends into the ceiling nicely, not sticking out at all.
- Cons: it could be wrong, but the bluetooth connection sometimes drops, which is too frustrating when i'm trying to use it. the colors shift a bit too fast at times, making it hard to settle on one i like. installation was a bit tricky for a diy project, and i wish it had more options for fixed colors without cycling through them.
