i bought this as a replacement after my old one broke, and it does the job for basic functions like changing channels and volume. it's brand new and clean, which is nice, but i'm a bit disappointed it doesn't offer anything extra. as a teacher, i appreciate simplicity, but for the price, i hoped for a bit more durability or ease in dim lighting. it works with my tv brands as stated, so no complaints there, but overall, it's just okay—not great, not terrible. :)
- Pros: it's fairly straightforward to set up, just point and it works with my tv right away, which was a relief. the buttons are clear and it feels solid in hand, no complicated stuff to figure out.
- Cons: from what i feel, it didn't like that it doesn't have any special features or backlighting, making it hard to use in the dark. also, the range seems a bit limited compared to what i expected.
