i bought this as a gift for my nephew who's crazy about dinosaurs, and overall, it's been a hit. the first time we tried it out in the backyard, he was thrilled with the sounds and how it moved around. but after a couple of weeks, i noticed the battery doesn't last too long—we had to recharge it after about an hour of play, which is a bummer. the remote is easy enough for me to use, but my younger kid struggled a bit with steering it smoothly. it's made of decent material and has held up to some drops, so no complaints there. as it seemed to me, it's a solid toy for the price, but it could be improved with better battery life and simpler controls for little ones. it is what it is, though—still provides hours of fun, and the kids love it. i'd recommend it with those caveats.
- Pros: the remote works from a good distance, which is great for playing outside, and the roaring sounds are pretty realistic, making it fun for the kids. it's durable enough for rough play, and the design looks cool, like a real dinosaur.
- Cons: the battery life isn't as long as i'd hoped, so it needs frequent charging, and the controls can be a bit tricky for younger kids to master. it's a bit loud indoors, which might annoy others after a while.
