I bought this expecting a durable and exciting toy for my son based on the description. Reality hit when it arrived the courier called ahead which was nice but unboxing it I noticed the plastic feels cheap in some parts. It drives fairly well and the transformation is cool but after a few weeks of use it started to show wear especially where the parts move. My child enjoys it a lot though and it keeps him entertained which is a win. For the budget it is a decent pick but I wish it was sturdier. Overall it meets expectations but could be better :)
- Pros: The car is fairly fun to drive and my kid loves the bright orange color. It transforms easily between modes which is a neat trick and no batteries needed so it was ready to play with right away. The remote works well from a distance making it powerful for backyard races.
- Cons: As it seemed to me the transformation mechanism feels a bit flimsy and might not hold up to rough play. The speed is decent but not as fast as I expected for a racing toy and the build quality is just okay not great for the price.
