i picked this up on a whim for my grandkids when they were visiting, and it's been a hit. they're eight and ten, and they spent hours figuring out how to make it dance and respond to sounds. as a teacher, i appreciate that it encourages problem-solving and imagination, though i wish it were a bit sturdier. it's most likely a good choice for kids who are into tech but maybe not ready for a real pet. overall, it's a fun gadget that brings some laughs and learning into the mix.
- Pros: i was pleasantly surprised by how much fun this little robot dog is—it moves to music in a really cool way, and my grandkids love making it do tricks. it's fairly easy to program, which keeps them engaged and creative without being too complicated.
- Cons: the battery doesn't last as long as i'd like, so you have to charge it often, and sometimes it feels a bit flimsy, like it might not hold up to rough play from energetic kids.
