as someone who loves books and learning, i researched this before buying, thinking it might be a fun way to connect with my inner child or share with family. the reality is that it's a simple toy, and while it meets the basic expectation of pika saying hello, it doesn't offer much beyond that. it's well-made and does what it says, but for the price, i wish there was more to it. still, it's a nice novelty item for pokemon fans, and it's easy to use even for a beginner like me. overall, it's enjoyable but not something i'd use daily.
- Pros: from what i feel, the touch response is incredibly sensitive and reacts instantly to any poke, which is fun and engaging. pika's greeting is just as iconic as i hoped, and it's built to last, so it can handle a lot of use without wearing out. it's a cute little companion that brings a smile to my face :)
- Cons: i was a bit skeptical because it only does one thing—greets you when touched—so it can get repetitive quickly. i expected more interactions or variety, but it's pretty basic. also, the sound might be a bit loud for some settings, which could be annoying.
