my first impression was positive—picked it up from the store, which was convenient, and unboxing felt exciting. bottom line, it's a solid kit for getting into robotics without any prior knowledge. i spent a weekend building and coding it, and it worked as expected. the movement is smooth, and the educational aspect is spot on for beginners. however, if you're already skilled, it might not challenge you enough. i'd recommend it for kids or newcomers, but not for experts. seems like a good value for the price, and it sparked my interest in learning more :)
- Pros: i loved how easy it was to put together with the snap-fit parts, no tools needed which was great for a beginner like me. the included guides made learning to code it straightforward and fun, and seeing the robot move around on its wheels was incredibly satisfying. it feels well-made and durable, perfect for tinkering.
- Cons: the coding part seemed a bit basic for someone with more experience, and i wish there were more advanced projects included. the materials could be a bit sturdier in some areas, as a few pieces felt flimsy during assembly. overall, it's good but has room for improvement.
