HIMO Group LED Night Light: Sound sensor control

Decision:

As an office worker who appreciates a proper workhorse, I gave this a shot to add some ambiance to my home office in Marseille. I've been using it for a couple of weeks now, and it's held up well. The sound sensor works as advertised—it picks up noises reliably and lights up, which is handy for when I walk into the room. The touch feature is smooth, no issues there. It doesn't have any fancy tech that complicates things, which I prefer. Size-wise, I went with the medium option, and it fits nicely on my desk. It's not going to replace my main lighting, but for a night light, it does the job fairly well. I'd recommend it if you're looking for something functional without breaking the bank :)

• Pros: The design is fairly eye-catching with its spherical shape that glows nicely in the dark, and I like how it responds to sound—just speaking or playing music turns it on without any fuss. The touch control is intuitive, making it easy to operate with a simple tap, and the range of sizes means you can pick what fits your space best. Packaging was intact, which is always a plus.
• Cons: It most likely requires batteries that aren't included, so you'll need to buy those separately, adding to the initial cost. For a budget-conscious person, that's a bit of a drawback since it feels like an extra step and expense right out of the box.
