before i got this, i was always nervous about parking, especially in tight spots or when reversing, and i did scrape my bumper once which was a hassle to fix. after using it for a couple of months, it's been a mixed bag—it definitely adds a layer of help and has saved me from a couple of potential bumps, but it's not perfect. the beeps are useful, but they can be inconsistent, and i find myself double-checking with my mirrors anyway. for the price, it's okay, but i could be wrong—maybe there are better options out there. overall, it does the job but not extremely well, so i'm on the fence about recommending it fully.
- Pros: it was extremely easy to install myself without any special tools, and i liked that it shows how close things are in a clear way with lights and beeps, which helped me avoid a few close calls while backing up
- Cons: i expected more accuracy because sometimes it beeps when nothing is there or misses things, and the display can be hard to see in bright sunlight, making it less reliable than i hoped
