I got this Phone Needs watch as a gift for my granddaughter who lives nearby. The problem was I wanted something simple to keep in touch without her having a phone. This seemed like a good solution because we could chat back and forth and it's waterproof so no worries about spills. After using it for a couple months it mostly worked but had some issues with the connection dropping which was frustrating. The step counter and sleep monitor were nice extras but the alarm took some figuring out. Overall it did the job but could be better. My takeaway is it's a decent first try for staying connected with kids :).
- Pros: I liked that it lets me talk to my grandkid easily and it can handle getting wet which is very handy for a kid. The color is fun and it helps track their activity and sleep which seemed useful.
- Cons: The connection was not always reliable and sometimes calls dropped. The alarm was a bit hard to set up for a beginner like me and the battery didn't last as long as I hoped.
